Teams of eight nominated firers from the squads of 10 which have been placed in the first 25 in Match 2.

CONDITIONS

2 convertible sighting shots and 15 to count at 900/1000 yards.

Coaching within the squad is permitted. Two targets per team.

1 hour 30 mins at 900 yards, and 1 hour 45 mins at 1000 yards.

Open to one team of six firers, a Captain and a Coach of any nationality (provided they meet the Special Conditions below) from any geographical county in the United Kingdom, which is currently affiliated to the NRA (Para 713).

Distance: 900 and 1000 yards.

No of shots: One sighting shot and ten to count per firer at each distance.

No of targets: One per team.

Time Limit: One hour 20 minutes at each distance.

County Championship Short Range

Combined match with Manydown Rifle Club vs RAF.

2&10 at 300, 600, 900 and 1,000 yards.  All day.  Bring your own ammo.

 

RESULTS

A good start to the season and a convincing win against the RAF. Even more convincing was that Surrey were also shooting concurrently against the RAF and only finished up 7 points ahead of us. All to play for at Inter-Counties weekend...
