Open to one team of six firers, a Captain and a Coach of any nationality (provided they meet the Special Conditions below) from any geographical county in the United Kingdom, which is currently affiliated to the NRA (Para 713).

Distance: 900 and 1000 yards.

No of shots: One sighting shot and ten to count per firer at each distance.

No of targets: One per team.

Time Limit: One hour 20 minutes at each distance.

Open to one team of eight firers, a Captain and two Coaches composed as for the County Championship Long Range. See Special Conditions.

Distances: 300 and 600 yards.

No of shots: One sighting shot and ten to count per firer at each distance.

No of targets: Two per team.

Time Limit: One hour at each distance

Combined match with Manydown Rifle Club vs RAF.

2&10 at 300, 600, 900 and 1,000 yards.  All day.  Bring your own ammo.

Entries via www.shootingcompetitions.org. Competitions and course of fire as follows. Various prizes for open and closed competitions, plus cadets (team and individual) and a name your own handicap shoot.

Multi-team match arranged by Surrey RA, against other clubs & counties.

Empire match (2+10 at 300/600 am, 900/1000 pm). Teams of up to 10 shooters, plus coaches. Ideal team training & selection prior to Inter-Counties, both for established county shots and for new/lapsed members to join in and get noticed!

Result:

No team entered, due to most members being already committed with either this new match for other teams, or other long-standing events.

Afternoon only.

A team training session, as opposed to just practice. Opportunity to work on team skills and the "target team" principle.

Bring your own ammo - details typically to be 2+10, so bring enough for 2-3 details plus a few spare.

Bring your own ammo - first details will be 2+10. With flexible target space and quick shoots on electronic targets, extra shoots can usually be accommodated with ease.

CONDITIONS

2 convertible sighting shots and 15 to count at 900/1000 yards.

Coaching within the squad is permitted. Two targets per team.

1 hour 30 mins at 900 yards, and 1 hour 45 mins at 1000 yards.
