Individual Day 2
Lovely sunny day today at Barry Buddon.
The wind conditions seemed easier than yesterday with fewer changes. As a result the scores were very high. Unfortunately I dropped 1 point at each range to finish with 147.15. That's not a terrible score by any means (particularly on the tight ICFRA targets), but it wasn't good enough. I'm now four points off.
However the scores are very tight with just 3 points covering the top 17 places so there is still potential for me to move up the leaderboard with a good shoot at long range tomorrow. The forecast is for more wind which may give more scope to move up (or down). I have done well enough to be squadded on the second detail with the leading shooters.
The Jersey pair have been going very nicely indeed and are in gold and silver medal positions on 1 off. Grenfell (Aus), Coetzee (South Africa) and Paton (Canada) are also 1 point off.
