for those who did not make the 300 yard electronic target shoot, it was a
interesting day The NRA decided to redesign the targets by putting 300x
faces on 500x faces and not covering the whole of the 500x black after
sorting this out we tried out the electronic target monitors. They are
Microsoft windows based need I say more. Tom Richards fell foul of the
technical glitches and I am sure that his first sighter at 300 yards will be
a low right outer. Having learnt through tom's misfortune that the usually
IT answer of switch it of and the switch it on again worked the rest of the
technical side was sorted out. We ran out of time at the end and this left
me with some 6 minutes to put sighters and 20 shots to count down.
For those who want to know we shot on F class faces making it very
difficult the 6 ring is 3/4 of a minute across and the 5 ring is the
remainder of the TR "V bull" with a 4 being the same size as a TR bull as a
3 for an inner. The scores out of 120. Some of the grouping was very good.
