The results of the 2006 Open Meeting are here.
| The Hampshire trophies and raffle prizes before the prize giving. |
Stewart has found his vocation as raffle organiser. |
| The Excellent Cup (2 and 10 at 300 yards) was won by Marcus O'Leary. |
Which is the Excellent Cup? |
| The Heygate Vernon (2 and 10 at 600 yards) was won by Nigel Ball. | The picture was no good but you can see Nigel below collecting the Chairman's Prize. |
| The Solomon's Cup (short range aggregate) was won by Martin Brister. |
|
| The Humphrey Cup (2 and 10 at 900 yards) was won by Peter Bromley after a tie shoot with Nigel Ball. The Symonds (2 and 10 at 1000 yards) was also won by Peter with the only 50 on the range. |
The Symonds Cup |
| If you've paid attention so far you will have worked out that Peter won the Wooldings Cup (long range aggregate). |
The Wooldings Cup |
| Nigel Ball took the X class section of The Chairman's Aggregate (600 and 900) with the highest score of all classes. |
|
| The County Championship was won by Carol Painting for the first time in the 20 years she has been a member of the Association. |
Carol was taking the photos but wasn't quick enough to photograph the trophy
before Charles took it away with all the others for valuation |
| The Open Championship was won by Peter Bromley with an outstanding 199.21. | This was not a good photo |
| Tom Richards was presented with his colours after representing Hampshire three times. He is not yet 18. |
I wonder whether Mum will sew these on for me? |
