About the Association
Hampshire Rifle Association (HRA) is a Home Office approved organisation (number FMS 03 24/25/1/5), which is affiliated to the National Rifle Association (NRA). We shoot mainly at the National Shooting Centre, Bisley.

HRA controls fullbore target rifle shooting for the county of Hampshire. HRA enters teams in inter-county events and runs a full programme of friendly matches. We encourage all members to take part in the friendly matches, which provide an opportunity for shooters to benefit from the experience of our coaches.

New members of any age are welcome. We like to encourage young shooters and recommend that they keep in touch with the GB Under 25 squad, whose web site is here.

Once a year HRA organises the Hampshire Open Prize Meeting, which provides competitions for all comers as well as the Association's Championship. Details for the 2007 meeting are here.
